Meet The Founders
HI, I’M JODIE. I’M THE FOUNDER OF MUUSA.
I grew up in a small town in Northern Ontario and am a member of the Timiskaming First Nation reserve. Growing up, I’d always wanted to pursue a career in the healthcare industry. But, after many years of watching Dragon’s Den on T.V, the dream of becoming an entrepreneur was also taking shape. One day, while sitting in our local hospital, I noticed how ill-fitting and unflattering most scrub designs are. I knew I wanted to help change that, and the idea for Muusa was born! I believe that you can perform at your best when you feel your best. We have worked long and hard, perfecting every single detail of the Muusa scrub line, and we’re excited to see our customers wearing them. We’re here to make you shine, one scrub set at a time.
HI, I’M ERIN. I’M THE LEAD DESIGNER AND VISUALDIRECTOR FOR MUUSA.
I also grew up in Northern Ontario but left home to study Fashion Design at Kwantlen University in British Columbia. I then worked in sportswear for several years. In 2017, I switched career paths to pursue my love of photography. When Jodie approached me with her idea to create a line of scrubs that simply make you feel good, I knew I wanted to be part of it right away. As a photographer, it is my job to make clients feel their very best. I bring the same joy to Muusa, only now it's about making sure the hard-working people in healthcare fields have that same feeling, so they can do their important work in scrubs that feel great and fit just right. I'm excited to represent the north and am proud to be part of her team.
